If you've been paying attention at all to what's going on legislatively, then you know there are all sorts of people (men - okay, I don't know they're ALL men, but mostly men) in various state and local governments currently pushing laws regarding contraception, abortion, and coverage of women's medical services when it comes to any part of her body that has even remotely to do with her reproductive system.

Truthfully, I've spent most of the last 2 months outraged and sad and shaking my fist at the TV because of it, and then I've found myself in a quiet despair of the future of humanity.

But maybe anger and sadness isn't going to be what turns the tide. Maybe humor and mocking those who make a mockery of the legal system might work. Heck, either that or I'm gonna have to start burning sage.

Or maybe I'm just on my period...

Quiet? Me?

Writing wise, yes. For a few reasons, I think.

There's a lot going on in the world and, maybe it's the political season -- maybe it's just the nature of communication as we know it -- but I just don't feel like adding my voice to the "din".

It feels like everyone has something to say about everything and, the louder it gets, the more inclined I am to just sit back and stay quiet.

In hopes of hearing something within all of the white noise.

So, just an update.
