Want to be in the new documentary on this year's San Diego Comic-Con?

Edit: Letter sent ;-) However, the rest is still up to date.

You know I have a habit of being all "rawr' when it comes to people who don't believe geek girls exist.

You know I love San Diego Comic Con.

You know I think geeks in general are awesome, but often misunderstood.

But did you know there's a documentary in the works that combines all of the above and, if it's done right, may go a long way towards giving people a better understanding into the geekier side of life, ladies and con life.

Did you know they have a twitter account?

According to the website...

Oscar®-nominated filmmaker Morgan Spurlock, producer Thomas Tull, comic book icon Stan Lee, writer/producer Joss Whedon, and film guru Harry Knowles have joined together to bring audiences the feature-length documentary COMIC-CON® EPISODE FOUR: A FANS HOPE - a documentary celebration of all things con-tastic!

We are looking to cast original, eccentric, funny, touching, and mildly obsessive people that will capture the excitement, enthusiasm, joy, and passion of comic book, anime, sci-fi, and fantasy lovers everywhere.

Okay, so will I admit that I'm a little nervous that it may end up making some of us geeks look a little...odd? Yeah. But there are enough geek friendly folks involved here that I actually think it may be more help than hurt.

If nothing else, I'm going to write my email. Why not?

Heck, what do any of us have to lose?

::grin:: And before you say "my self respect", just try and remember you'll probably be wearing a mask or cape at the show and running through the halls like the rest of us, so how much self respect do you have anyway?

Yeah, I went there. ;p

Go on. ::push:: Show off your geek.

Best #StarWars & #Boob related shirt EVAR!

It started with a tweet.

@NSSteph: Best #StarWars & #Boob related shirt I have EVER seen.

Then this pic.

and my quest to find it was swift, aided by Twitter and Google.

The "Move Along" t-shirt can be found here.

It's available in regular, babydoll and spaghetti strap versions for anywhere from $20.00 to $29.00 depending on sizing.

Something tells me these guys are gonna get a -lot- of calls ;-)

Now I want one that says "You came in that thing? You're braver than I thought!"

Day of the Dead Perfection from Living Dead Dolls.

When I first heard about this set, I knew it was gonna be cool. Initial pics looked great. But this...

...is amazing.

All I know is, if you think you want them, order it as soon as possible, because we're gonna sell out. I can already tell.

Living Dead Dolls Series 20 Day of the Dead Set

Soooooooooo happy.

Girls v. Boys by SMBC = Awesome.

SMBC sort of nails this one.

However, I wonder if there's a sign in the fact that I used to try and make my dolls fly...

Monday Squee: Franken Vader Bobble Says "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!"

Okay, so he doesn't in real life, but here, on the web, I can make him ;-)

Star Wars Monster Mash-Ups Darth Vader Bobble Head
I mean, I know I wasn't the only one who thought this was just meant to be.

I want this. I need this. it WILL be mine.

There's also a skelly stormtrooper, a werewolf Chewie and wait till you see Yoda!

Also, I had to squee a little about this. Cause I made it. Well, I didn't make the banner, but I did make the nifty spotlight that it's linked to.

See? Sometimes I actually WORK over here at Entertainment Earth ;-)

NBC To Cancel Law & Order?

These were their stories...DUN-DUN

The rumor is out there. According to Deadline, NBC has decided to cancel Law & Order, which means Dick Wolf can't beat Gunsmoke by getting that 21st season he's been hoping for. Other sites are reporting that negotiations are still ongoing.

I know it sounds funny, but I actually think it's time.

Maybe it was the news that S. Epatha Merkerson was leaving after this season. Maybe it was too many cast changes in too short a span of time. Maybe the show just hasn't been the same since we lost Lennie.

But it just feels like Law & Order has been on life support for a while now and that everyone was doing their best to keep it alive just to make it to that magic 21st season.

I say this as a diehard fan. I've seen darn near every single episode of those 20 seasons (not to mention SVU, CI and, dare I admit, Trial by Jury) and I'll be sad to see it go.

Still, unless we're looking for 2010 tax loopholes (see? I DO watch), I think we all may need to say "it's time" and sign the DNR.

I'd rather remember the good times than the last gasps, sitting on a barstool with Lennie, Jack & Claire.

p.s. If you've never seen the Aftershock, you wont get that last bit ;-)

Miley lap dances with 7 year olds? Is that next?

I'm having an odd crisis of conscience.

If you haven't seen the Miley Cyrus video making the rounds thanks to TMZ, you may not know that people are outraged and making all sorts of comment about how wrong it is for little girls. TMZ brands it as a "lapdance" and everyone sort of followed suit.

Um...I can't believe I'm about to defend Miley Cyrus.

1) That's not a lap dance. I've had a lap dance. Not to mention, she's dancing with a gay man who's a dancer in his own right. I was 16 once and I used to go to parties and out dancing and I danced just like that. With straight boys, even.

2) It's at a party. Where people should be allowed to have fun and cut loose and not have to worry about everything ending up on the web to be judged out of context.

3) Remember Dirty Dancing? Tell me, would you have had a problem with it if it were Jennifer Grey and Patrick Swayze?

4) I love how TMZ slows the tape down and hits a close up, as if to say, "See? see? Body parts! Touching!"

On the other hand, this totally freaks me out. (via EW Pop Watch)

This is a dance group of 7 year olds dancing to "Single Ladies".

I don't have an issue with the choreography. Heck, I posted a vid of a 7-year old doing an amazing booty shake not too long ago and I think these girls are really good.

But did we need to dress them this way? Blarrrrrgh.

So, I can accept a 16 year old doing a little dirty dancing fully clothed at a private party, but I have an issue with 7 year olds dancing in thigh high stockings and not much else.

Like I said, crisis of conscience.

New Twilight Barbies and Muse Make Me Happy.

Okay, okay, so I don't post a lot of Twilight stuff. Still, these caught my eye. ;-)

Twilight Eclipse Alice Cullen Barbie Doll
While I know people have been holding out for the Tonner version, I think the Twilight Eclipse Alice Cullen Barbie Doll looks pretty great and the price is a bit more...accessible?

Twilight Eclipse Victoria Barbie DollBut I actually really dig the new Twilight Eclipse Victoria Barbie Doll (@cleolinda confirms it's definitely looking like Bryce Dallas Howard) because of the BOOTS. Stompy boots on a Barbie doll. Click the pic and see. ::swoon::

Granted, I've been sort of enthralled with Barbie recently. And I'm DYING to see a picture of the new Barbie Ladies of the 80s Flashdance Jennifer Beals Doll. But I'll be honest, I'm likely to buy it sight unseen. I had the cut sweatshirt. I did that look ;-)

So, yeah. Barbies ;-)

p.s. The new Muse song gets released May 17th. Neutron Star Collision (Love Is Forever) is going to be lead single released for the Twilight: Eclipse soundtrack. That may have a little something to do with my increased interest ;-)

Rampaging Geek Girl on Geek Girl Crush Moment

Dear Great White Snark and Big Shiny Robot,

I love you.

You have just completely, utterly and totally reaffirmed the back story on my previous blog post on why I "kissed a girl"

I'll be in my bunk.

::swoon::

There have to be more women out there who do this. Now I just need to find them.

Vampire Soap is To Die For...

Wanna know why I love geeks?

Because only a geek would come up with something this awesome. ;-)

This is the new Vampire Attractant soap from Geeky Clean.

(see the blood pool at the bottom? ::swooooon::)

Per the description: Scented with appropriately named, "Love Spell" fragrance which is a blend of Summer Flowers and sweet Oranges. The bar is 100% soap, so you won't get bitten as these fun soapy vampire teeth slowly sink into your skin.

Part of me just...melted...reading that.

Maybe it's my love of Lestat, or the idea of a long shower while listening to Concrete Blonde's "Bloodletting", but this soap just made me go "rawr".

And I would be remiss in asking that you include me in the disclaimer on the page: Geeky Clean is not responsible for loss of soul due to authentic Vampire attraction. Please don't eat me.

I'm just the messenger. ::wink::

5 Reasons Blizzard Should Invite Me to the Warcraft: Cataclysm Beta.

5) I'm a girl.

According to Trade Chat, girls don't play WoW. So, having a "real girl" in the beta means you have a chance to acclimate the other Beta testers to the "ewwww, a girl" reactions they will undoubtedly experience once Cata goes live.

4) I never played Vanilla WoW.

Considering you're planning to upend Azeroth, letting me play means you won't get all those annoying "suggestions" about how Hogger should be nerfed or wondering why they can't find the secret leatherworking pattern in Azshara. You'll also have the added advantage of having a player running around in a newly level 40 Westfall who actually reads the quest text instead of thinking they already know the quest and then contacting a GM when they want to tell you the "NPC isn't where he's SUPPOSED 2 BE!"

3) I'm not in a hardcore endgame raiding guild.

Let me in and you don't have to worry about my being able to go back to my entire guild (who tells the sister guilds across the servers and so on) about the strats for Deathwing or the other new raid bosses. Bonus for you? Maybe you get a few more days before the telltale "first kill" notices start showing up ;-)

2) I work for Entertainment Earth and we sell your toys.

World of Warcraft Series 7 Worgen Spy Action FigureYou went to all of the trouble of making action figures for a Worgen Spy and a Goblin Tinker.

Plus you have all the other cool Warcraft merchandise.

If I was playing in the beta, well, don't you think I might talk about the toys a little? ;-) #justsayin

And, last but not least...

1) I still play WoW like a noob.

As with any major expansion, Blizzard hopes to gain new subscribers with Cataclysm. While I've been playing for 3 years, I still have my noob moments, so I'd be a perfect candidate to wander blindly around Azeroth and discover the new content. (Okay, okay, so I'm not a total noob. We did get up to Lich King last night on ICC, but I promise, he splatted us once we made it there!)

I mean, think about it. new race, new spec, new abilities, new spells, new places?

Who else to best appreciate and experience it but a noob girl gamer geek with a love of toys? ::grin::

I'll be checking my mail.....

Added May 6th:

#6 - I wouldn't have posted screenshots, enchanting info, spec changes and all the other cool new stuff you did. Unless you wanted everyone to do that. Which, maybe you did.

Just....sayin... ;-)

You know how to find me.

Monday Squee: Part 2. New Castle Ad Is Rawr!

Dear ABC,

THANK you for realizing what we've known about Nathan Fillion all this time. ;-)

p.s. Thank you for Stana in that dress. ::swooooooooon!::

Monday Squee: AT-AT's! Hasbro Makes a Big Daddy and Baby Version!

If you were following when I went to ToyFair, then you already know I made happy noises over these. But it doesn't mean I'm not gonna doing again now that they're up for order at Entertainment Earth ;-)

You heard it was coming. Well, it's here. It's the Star Wars Deluxe AT-AT Vehicle!

I got a pic at ToyFair, so if you want to know what it looks like up close and personal...

But there's another AT-AT that I think deserves a lot of love.

Personally, I LOVED the Star Wars Galactic Heroes AT-AT Vehicle.

We don't have a pic at EE yet, but I took these at ToyFair and I think this thing is about the most awesome thing...walking ;-)

Look at the FEET! <3

Love it ;-)

In other words....squee!
